Joseph Caron was a Quebec merchant and political figure. He represented the Ottawa electoral district from 1917 to 1919, and its successor electoral district Hull from 1919 to 1923, in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec as a Liberal. He was born in Saint-Barthélemy, Quebec, the son of Norbert Caron and Herméline Mercure, and was educated at the Collège de Hull. In 1896, Caron married Margaret Theresa Burns.
