Jorge Alejandro Salum del Palacio is a Mexican politician. In 2006–2009 he served as a federal deputy in the 50th Congress, representing Durango's fourth district for the National Action Party (PAN). He also served as the mayor of his birthplace, Victoria de Durango, in 2019–2022. Salum del Palacio left the PAN in February 2024 and joined the Citizens' Movement (MC). He is seeking election as one of Durango's senators in the 2024 Senate election, occupying the first place on the MC's two-name fo
