John Tyler Linton (1796–1821) was a Virginia landowner and philanthropist whose landholdings were donated by his daughter, Sarah Elliott Graham Linton (1822–1901), for the establishment of schools for poor boys and girls in Bristow, Virginia. It is on this land that Linton Hall School was established.
