John Thomas Jennings, was an Australian politician. Born in Melbourne, he attended state schools before becoming a retailer of dental supplies. He underwent military service from 1899 to 1901 and served in South Africa during the Second Boer War with the Victorian Mounted Rifles. In 1931, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the United Australia Party member for South Sydney in New South Wales. South Sydney was abolished in 1934 and replaced with Watson; Jennings conteste
