Adrianos Komnenos was a Byzantine prince of the Komnenian dynasty, who became a monk and served as Archbishop of Ohrid as John IV between 1139/42 and his death, sometime in 1163/64. Few details about his life are known. As a younger nephew of the Byzantine emperor Alexios I Komnenos, he received a good education and military training.
