Jimmie Lawrence Vaughan Jr. is an American blues rock guitarist and singer based in Austin, Texas. He is the older brother of the late Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. He was a founding member and guitarist of Fabulous Thunderbirds, formed a duo Vaughan Brothers with his brother in 1990 now also singing and eventually started his solo career in 1994.
