Jeotgalibaca is a genus of bacteria from the family of Carnobacteriaceae. Jeotgalibaca, a gram-positive bacterium, is found in traditional Korean salted and fermented food, it is made by adding 20–30 % salt to various types of seafood. Seujeot is a type of jeotgalibaca, the name deriving from the Korean words seu (shrimp) and jeot (jeotgalibaca).
