Jaren is the administrative centre of Gran Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located about 55 kilometres (34 mi) to the northwest of the capital city of Oslo. The lake Randsfjorden lies about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of Jaren.
