was a Polish forester, university teacher and politician who served as Minister of Environment in the cabinets of Jerzy Buzek (1997–1999), Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz (2005–2007), Jarosław Kaczyński (2007), Beata Szydło (2015–2017) and Mateusz Morawiecki (2017–2018). He was elected to the Sejm on 25 September 2005, receiving 7,042 votes in the 20th Warsaw district, as a candidate on the Law and Justice list.
