Jamiel "Jimmy" Alexander Chagra was an American drug trafficker, carpet salesman and professional gambler. He admitted to a role in the May 1979 assassination of United States District Judge John H. Wood Jr. in San Antonio, Texas. Chagra was active as a trafficker of marijuana beginning in the 1960s, and by the 1970s was a well-known drug trafficker operating out of Las Vegas and El Paso.
