text: James Scott of Logie and Castlested, Forfar was a Scottish politician who sat in the Parliament of Scotland from 1702 to 1707 and in the British House of Commons between 1707 and 1732. Scott was the eldest son of James Scott, of Logie, and his wife Agnes Falconer, daughter of Sir Alexander Falconer, 1st Baronet, of Glenfarquhar, Kincardine.
