James A. MacNeill was a blacksmith, merchant and political figure in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He represented 5th Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1908 to 1922 and from 1923 to 1926 as a Conservative member. He was born at Travellers Rest, Prince Edward Island, the son of Malcolm MacNeill and Isabel McDonald. He sold farm equipment. MacNeill was elected to the Summerside Town Council and was mayor from 1901 to 1904. He also served as chairman of the Water Commi
