Jacob Timothy Wallis Simons is a British journalist, and editor of The Jewish Chronicle since December 2021. Born in London, he graduated with a first class degree in English from St Peter's College, Oxford, before completing a PhD in creative writing at the University of East Anglia in 2009. He has written four novels, including The English German Girl, which won the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize in 2011.
