Jacob Adam McLaughlin is an American actor and former soldier. Following his military service, including action in the Iraq War, he came to attention for his role as Specialist Gordon Bonner in the 2007 film In the Valley of Elah – based on actual events involving American soldiers who served in the Iraq War. He also portrayed Alex Karev’s brother Aaron on Grey's Anatomy. McLaughlin starred as Tate in the short lived NBC series Believe (2014). He has also been in the main cast for season 2 of Cr
