John Ronald McNab was a New Zealand rugby union player. A loose forward, McNab represented Otago at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1949 and 1950, including on their 1949 tour of South Africa. He played 17 matches for the All Blacks including six internationals. Later, McNab coached Otago Country and South Otago Colts teams. He served as president of the South Otago sub-union from 1976 to 1977, and was president of the Otago Rugby Footbal
