John Henry Kubiszyn is an American former professional baseball player. A shortstop, he appeared in the Major Leagues for parts of two seasons for the Cleveland Indians (1961–1962), playing in 25 games both seasons. The Buffalo, New York, native threw and batted right-handed, stood 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and weighed 170 pounds (77 kg). Kubiszyn was a two-sport star at the University of Alabama in the 1950s. A three-year basketball guard from 1956 to 1958, he was a member of Johnny Dee's
