J26 was a smaller-size convergence in what is commonly called the anti-globalization movement. It took place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in June 2002 during the Group of Eight summit in nearby Kananaskis. A protest called Take the Capital! took place in Ottawa on the same day, targeting those who could not make it out west. J26 was also the name of a night march and street party held a year later.
