Jōjima was a town located in Mizuma District, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 13,772 and a density of 783.39 persons per km2. The total area was 17.58 km2. On February 5, 2005, Jōjima, along with the town of Kitano, the town of Mizuma, and the town of Tanushimaru, was merged into the expanded city of Kurume and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
