J. J. Michel Robert, is a Canadian jurist and former politician from Quebec. Robert served as president of the Young Liberals of Canada from 1963 to 1965, and was a member of the 1982 to 1985 Royal Commission on the Economic Union and Development Prospects for Canada headed by Donald Stovel Macdonald. From 1986 to 1990, he was president of the Liberal Party of Canada. In 1991, he was appointed to the Queen's Privy Council for Canada when Prime Minister Brian Mulroney appointed him to the Securit
