Irati is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, located in the southeastern region of the state. Its population at the 2022 census was 59,250. The main ethnicities are especially Poles and Ukrainians, who seek to maintain customs and traditions of their ancestors. Irati sprang up in the 1890s as a railroad town along the São Paulo – Rio Grande do Sul railroad line. The name, Irati, comes from the Tupi language and reportedly means "river of honey".
