The International Gay Figure Skating Union (IGFSU) is currently the international governing body for figure skating at the Gay Games. Established in 1991 by Laura Moore and Arthur Luiz, the IGFSU sanctioned the figure skating events at the Gay Games beginning with the 1994 Games IV in New York.
