The Independent Alliance is a parliamentary faction within the House of Commons of the United Kingdom made up of five MPs elected as independents. The group is not a political party, but is instead a technical group within parliament. The parliamentary group was formed on 2 September 2024 by Jeremy Corbyn, former Leader of the Labour Party, alongside independent MPs Shockat Adam, Adnan Hussain, Ayoub Khan and Iqbal Mohamed. All five of its members were elected as independent MPs in the 2024 Unit
