Isaac Brown was an American infielder and outfielder who played professional baseball for 14 years from 1961 to 1974, including six seasons in Major League Baseball for the Detroit Tigers from 1969 through 1974. He batted and threw right-handed. Brown was the last former Negro league player to make it to the Major Leagues. In a six-season major-league career, Brown posted a .256 batting average with 20 home runs and 65 runs batted in in 280 games played. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Brown was
