Igurusi is an administrative ward in the Mbarali district of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. In 2022 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were more than 28,000 people in the ward, from 24,573 in 2016. The ward is famous for rice farming and most of its residents depend from rice farming. The ward has nine villages which are; Chamoto, Igurusi, Ilolo, Lunwa, Lusese, Maendeleo, Majenje, Rwanyo and Uhambule. Igurusi is home to Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute (MATI-Igurusi
