Igbo Eze South is a Local Government Area of Enugu State in South East, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ibagwa-Aka. The present local government Chairman is Comrade Peter Andy. It has an area of 158 km2 and a population of 147,328 at the 2006 census. Ten towns make up Igbo-eze south Local.
