Hypocreomycetidae is a subclass of sac fungi. It is a highly diverse group of fungi with species from various habitats. This subclass has been reported as pathogenic, endophytic, parasitic, saprobic, fungicolous, lichenicolous, algicolous, coprophilous and insect fungi from aquatic and terrestrial habitats.
