text: The lobster-clawed moth is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It is found in most of Europe, except for the Iberian Peninsula and most of the Balkan Peninsula. In the east, the range extends to Siberia and Taiwan. The wingspan is about 18 mm. The forewings are whitish-grey, sometimes sprinkled with dark grey,margins sometimes ochreous-tinged ; usually a dark fuscous suffusion near dorsum towards base ; costa marked with small blackish spots except towards base ; a triangular blackish partly brown
