Hypatima probolaea is a species of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1913. It is found in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are pale brownish, with some scattered dark fuscous scales and a blackish streak beneath the costa from the base to two-fifths, as well as a blackish line along the fold from the base to an elongate dark fuscous partially white-edged spot representing the plical stigma, its basal portion traversing a lar
