Husaini Abdullahi was the military governor of Bendel State, Nigeria from March 1976 to July 1978 during the military regime of General Olusegun Obasanjo. Husaini Abdullahi was born on 3 March 1939 in Doma Local Government now in Nasarawa State of Nigeria.
As a lieutenant commander, Abdullahi was in charge of troop landings from NNS Lokoja during the capture of Bonny Island in July 1967, during the Nigerian Civil War.
