Hu Changqing was a Chinese politician who served as vice-governor of Jiangxi. In 2000, he was terminated from employment, sentenced to death for bribery and corruption, and then executed via firing squad. It is alleged that part of the reason Hu was executed was because he criticized Jiang Zemin, the general secretary of China at the time.
