Hryhoriy Omelchenko is a Ukrainian politician who was involved in investigating corruption. He served in the Ukrainian Parliament from 2008 until 2010. In 2010 Ukrainian President Victor Yuschenko awarded him the Hero of Ukraine title. He served as an officer in the SUB. He accused Leonid Kuchma's administration of arms dealing. He also accused Kuchma of arranging an assassination plot against him.
