Homatropine is an anticholinergic medication that is an antagonist at muscarinic acetylcholine receptors and thus the parasympathetic nervous system. It is used in eye drops as a cycloplegic, and as a mydriatic. The related chemical compound homatropine methylbromide (methylhomatropine) is a different medication.
