text: There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Holcroft, both in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom for members of the same family. The Holcroft Baronetcy, of The Shrubbery in the Parish of Kingswinford in the County of Stafford, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 28 July 1905 for the iron and coal master Charles Holcroft. He was also a collector of fossils and a benefactor to the University of Birmingham. The title became extinct on his death in 1917.
