Hoggeston is a village and civil parish within the Aylesbury Vale district in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located around 2+1⁄2 miles (4 km) south-east of Winslow, and around 8 miles (13 km) north of Aylesbury. It is in the civil parish of Dunton. The village name is Anglo-Saxon in origin, and means "Hogg's farm". In the Domesday Book of 1086 it was recorded as Hochestone. The village was once granted a Royal charter to hold a market once a week, though this has long since been discontinued.
