Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a long-running American late-night live sketch comedy variety show that premiered on NBC on October 11, 1975. Created by Lorne Michaels, who is the original and current showrunner, the show features a regular cast of comedic actors, alongside guest hosts and musical performances, all broadcast live from Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
