text: Henry Smalley Rungay was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba as a Liberal-Progressive from 1948 to 1953. Rungay was educated in London, and continued his studies at the University of Manitoba after moving to Canada in 1906. He became a pharmaceutical chemist after graduation, working as a druggist and clerk in the municipality of Harrison. He was chosen president of the local Red Cross Association in 1941, and served as vice-president of the Trans-
