text: Henry Fownes Luttrell was an English lawyer and Tory politician from Dunster Castle in Somerset. He sat in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom from 1816 to 1822. Fownes Luttrell was the second surviving son of John Fownes Luttrell I (1752–1816). His mother Mary was a daughter of Francis Drewe of The Grange, Broadhembury, Devon. He was educated at Eton and at Brasenose College, Oxford, and called to the bar at the Middle Temple in 1813. His father died on 16 February 1816, and on 12 March
