Heldreichia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Brassicaceae. The only species is Heldreichia bupleurifolia. Its native range is the eastern Mediterranean. It is found in the countries of Lebanon-Syria, Palestine and Turkey. The genus name of Heldreichia is in honour of Theodor von Heldreich (1822–1902), a German botanist born in Dresden. The Latin specific epithet of bupleurifolia refers to means ‘with leaves like those of the genus Bupleurum’, a large genus in the
