Hedvig Malina is an ethnic Hungarian woman from Horné Mýto, Slovakia, whose situation gained publicity in 2006 for claiming that she was physically assaulted in a hate crime incident. The incident caused a media sensation and her case has ever since represented a highly controversial and debated issue of Hungary-Slovakia relations.
