text: There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Hawkins, both in the Baronetage of Great Britain. One creation is extant as of 2008. The Hawkins Baronetcy, of Kelston in the County of Somerset, was created in the Baronetage of Great Britain on 25 July 1778 for Cæsar Hawkins, Serjeant-Surgeon to George II and George III. Cæsar Hawkins, son of Reverend E. Hawkins, younger son of the first Baronet, was also a distinguished surgeon. The third Baronet was High Sheriff of Somerset
