Harran is a village in Grong municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the river Namsen in the Namdalen valley. It is about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of the village of Medjå, the administrative center of Grong. The village of Gartland lies about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Harran. From 1923 until 1964, the village was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Harran. The village lies along the European route E6 highway. Harran Station is located in t
