Hamilton is an unincorporated community in Perry Township in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States. Hamilton and the Valier area was used for coal mining. Getting nicknamed "Browntown". There is now a Sandpaper factory, 3-H Abrasives. It went through a lot of changes throughout the years, the Post Office moved next door, 3-H burned down and moved to another spot, there was a General store that went out of business.
