Habberley is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Pontesbury, in the Shropshire district, in the ceremonial county of Shropshire, England. Habberley lies near the Stiperstones southwest of the town of Shrewsbury. Formerly a small civil parish in its own right Habberley was merged in to the Pontesbury civil parish on 1 April 1967. Its main amenities are a small Anglican church, a public house, and village hall. In 1824 its population was recorded as 151 - by 1961 this had
