Guido Crosetto is an Italian businessman and politician who has served as Minister of Defence since 22 October 2022 in the government of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. A former Christian-democrat who served as an undersecretary at the Ministry of Defence (2008–2011), Crosetto was among the founders of the national-conservative Brothers of Italy (FdI) in 2012, of which he served as president from 21 December 2012 to 4 April 2013.
