It is used in many recipes including hamburgers, bolognese sauce, meatloaf, meatballs, kofta, burritos, and mince pies. Note that mincemeat may also refer to a mixture of chopped fruit, distilled spirits, and spices, with or without minced/ground meat, as found in fruit mince pies.
