Grochowice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kotla, within Głogów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It is situated approximately 5 km (3 mi) north of Kotla, 15 km (9 mi) north of Głogów, and 102 km (63 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław. Village has the Holy Mary of Czestochowa baroque church raised in 1789. The church has oval shape and is built of stone and bricks. The front wooden and only tower was rep
