text: Grieg Taber was a prominent Anglo-Catholic priest in the American Episcopal Church during the twentieth century. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska and educated at the former St. Stephen's College, Annandale-on-Hudson (BA) and the former Seabury Divinity School. He was ordained to the diaconate in June 1919 and to the priesthood in December 1919. Initially a priest-educator, Taber was master at the Shattuck School in Faribault, Minnesota from 1918 to 1920, and chaplain and instructor in History and
