Gorgon is the name of different fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The most common of the Gorgons was part of the evil gang called the Extremists. He is based on the Marvel Comics supervillain Doctor Octopus, and like him has several super-strong tentacles, though they are organic rather than mechanical.
