Sir Goolam Hoosen Kader Meeran is a judge of the United Nations Dispute Tribunal. Goolam Meeran grew up in South Africa during the apartheid regime. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 1969 and graduated with a MSc (Econ) in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics in 1970. He was awarded a diploma in law in 1981. He was called to the Bar in 1982. Meeran was appointed a JP in 1985. He became a part-time Chairman of Employment Tribunals in 1992, a full-time Chairman in
