text: Gmina Płoty is an urban-rural gmina in Gryfice County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Płoty, which lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south of Gryfice and 63 km (39 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin. The gmina covers an area of 238.79 square kilometres (92.2 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 9,212.
